Woah, I’m in Grad School

So, I clearly haven’t posted in quite some time, and yes, I realize this makes me a bad blogger. I promise to start posting more frequently!

Since my last post, quite a bit has changed. I moved back to my second home in Athens, Ohio and started graduate school. Thus far, I really love my program (public administration) and the school I’m in (Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs) and my graduate assistant position.

But what I like most about my program are the people that are in my class. Everyone has different backgrounds, everyone comes from somewhere different, but we have all been brought together by our desire to make a difference. This quote seems appropriate:

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” -Margaret Mead

We are a dedicated, passionate group of people. I know we can and will do big things.

That being said, I can assure I will be posting more in the near future!

  1. I have great faith in you!

  2. Yay, we’ll have the same degree. I’m teching in the OEMPA program this fall “Devolution, Privatization and the New Realities of Public Management” on the Ridges. Love Dr. Millesen – very great prof. Enjoy!
