It’s no secret that lace-up everything is trending this year. While most trends tend to be in the front, I was so excited to find a sweater that laces up in the back, too.

It’s been about two weeks since we got back from the beach, and I’m totally still there in my mind. I was alllll about this top while we were there, and it’s been warm enough that I can keep wearing it. That Midwest weather.

It seems to me that we all tend to rush out at the first sign of fall for our PSLs and are immediately itching for blanket scarves. I love layering as much as the next gal, but I’m trying to stay in the moment this year and continue to wear my favorite summer clothes as long as possible. Best part about a top like this one is that it pairs great with jeans, too so I can continue to wear it a little longer.

It’s officially official…I can now say that I have a dress that makes me feel like the salsa dancer emoji. Life goals, complete? When Make Me Chic sent me this dress, I KNEW it would be a summer staple – it can go anywhere from the beach to a summer wedding or even just running around town in your favorite flat sandals.

If you want something that’s not only does double duty, but is also affordable, I suggest you walk, don’t run and get this dress! I love the uneven hem – it’s perfect for showing off your shoes.
I definitely try to keep it simple in the accessory department when I’m wearing something as eye-catching as this little number. A simple bracelet and my current favorite tassel earrings are all you really need.
Seriously, when you can twirl in your dress, it doesn’t get much better.
